Positive - Smile

Smile, though your heart is aching,Smile, even though it’s breaking. When there are clouds in the sky-You’ll get by.If you smile through your pain and sorrow,Smile and maybe tomorrowYou’ll see the sun come shining throughFor you.Light up your face with gladness,Hide every trace of sadness.Although a tear may be ever so near,That’s the time you must keep on trying,Smile, what’s the use of crying? You’ll find that life is still worthwhile,If you just smile.
- Composed: Charlie Chaplin
   Lyrics: John Turner, Geoffrey Parsons

Positive - Smile

Smile, though your heart is aching,
Smile, even though it’s breaking.
When there are clouds in the sky-
You’ll get by.

If you smile through your pain and sorrow,
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You’ll see the sun come shining through
For you.

Light up your face with gladness,
Hide every trace of sadness.
Although a tear may be ever so near,
That’s the time you must keep on trying,
Smile, what’s the use of crying?
You’ll find that life is still worthwhile,
If you just smile.

Coincidence..

I leave my iPod playing to take a shower, come back and have the song “Smile” originally composed by Charlie Chaplin, sung by Nat King Cole, stuck in my head. As I silently mumble/sing the lyrics, I put on my headphones and find that my iPod is in the middle of playing it.

I love my iPod.
